Back at the San Jose Civic Center, the very venue where we began our tour back in September.
(I’m going to point out one more time, if you really like a picture on the site, click on it to go to a bigger version, then click again for still bigger.)
It’s interesting how different the music in our set goes now, after playing oh, about 45 shows together.
It’s one of those venues that shoots video of the action and presents it on screens beside the stage - we’re always happy to see that because it helps the audience catch what’s going on
Our indispensible front of house engineer, Frank Trzaskowski, is usually on the move and hard to capture in a photo.
A lot going on this afternoon. My solo album blu-ray disks arrived and I wanted to sign the ones that’ll be in merch here on the tour. And a preview of my special edition double LP that’ll be unveiled next week at Record Store Day Black Friday.
But also, it was decided to take the ‘end of tour’ photo of band and crew… though it’s far from the end of the tour!
So this is a picture of us gathering for it (yes, ‘herding cats’) but I’ll hold off on posting the end pic until, yeah, the end of the tour - in mid December.
Let me say, though, that we’re very lucky to have a great team on this tour (not even all there for the pic when I grabbed that shot) Everyone on the tour is doing a great job, and all travelling together has been a joy.
Mirror & photgrapher = another backstage photo!
Ready to go on now…
Great audience, super show.
But we’re not done yet, by a long shot!
More soon.
