A very distinctive and lovely venue we’re happy to be at: San Diego’s Humphrey’s on the Bay.
Lovely surroundings here, and when you arrive, the ambience and nice folks can make you forget you’re here to play a rock show.
Well, here’s a pic from 2017, and King Crimson’s show here… hasn’t changed!
Frank, our front of house engineer, is very scrupulous about checking the PA sound in every area.
And Thomas, as usual, looking after my gear and Adrian’s… not a small job.
Night falls and there’s a very large moon, and partial eclipse coming during our show. As often, I try to photograph it, and as often, it doesn’t come out well!
Sorry, madame, I don’t have any drum sticks for you. Well, I have my Funk Fingers… but only brought one set!
Wonderful night, musically, the huge moon shining over us was special, a great audience. And they seemed to agree, which is a very good thing since we’ll be back at this same venue in a few months, near the end of the tour.
More soon, from Phoenix.
