Two shows in Mexico: Mexico City and Monterrey.
In Mexico City, I couldn’t resist appearing on this cool rock radio show - the show’s name is Track Attack!
Tonight’s venue, Centro Cultural Roberto Cantoral, is a nice one.
We’ve played here before, and remembered that it has a section of audience seated behind the stage!
Tonight’s opening band was missing it’s bass player, and Markus sat in for a few pieces with them
And, as usual, a great, warm reception from the Mexico fans.
Always rewarding to play in Mexico City.
Now, it’s a short flight to Monterrey… a colorful city with mountains hovering nearby.
Tonight, we’re playing a club called Escena Monterrey.
It’s the last show in Mexico, and the last with our very special guest David Cross. We’ve now played 17 shows, in 10 countries, and though there were some tiring travel days, it’s been a thrill to present this music to the wonderful audiences we’ve had.
For the three of us in Stick Men, the tour isn’t quite over - we have more shows coming up in Texas - so tomorrow is another 5:30am hotel checkout to get to the Dallas show. We’ll be thinking of David as he heads home to England, and we hope to play with him again before long.
More soon.
