Thrilled to be back out with Stick Men, and playing more music from our new Prog Noir release.
We chose to start the tour in Seattle and head down the West Coast. There’s one issue about that, which is why we more often tour in the East: it’s that, with our van we can take all the equipment we need to do the show the way we really like. But if we have to fly with the gear, then rent a van, it needs to be far less.
Solved this time by our great sound engineer, Robert Frazza. He simply headed out in his van (which is the one we use when we can) from Kingston, NY, and drove all the way to Seattle.
So, let’s start the road diary off with some of the pictures he took along the way - they’re great, and as you can see, he didn’t take a direct route across the north. Far from it!
Okay, now we’re all here in Seattle - a couple of days rehearsing to lock in some of the new material.
After the show, a nice meeting with one of our wonderful campers, Angel. She’s named the upcoming Crimson incarnation The Octobeast!
