It’s called the 3 Arena here in Dublin, though it was called the O2 Arena when we last played here.
It’s been a great tour but, I’ll admit it, we’re tired!
Time to play
So that’s it for the UK, European part of the tour. It’s been great fun, and super audiences – We all know it’s challenging to have so much new material in a show, and in this case, some new material that hasn’t been released at all yet. Very grateful to the folks who came to the shows, and of course to you, the people who take a peek at my road diary to see what it’s like from our side of the stage.
Big gratitude to the crew also – this was not an easy tour for them in any way. Some nights with zero sleep, and a lot of precision needed to construct that production. We’ll see most of them again in September, but typically, some will have other tours, and of course we didn’t have a chance for a goodbye… they were working when we left the venue.
I’ll mostly take the Summer off, except for our precious Three of a Perfect Pair music camp in August, and plodding along on my solo album. Will be back right at the start of September with pics and stories from the warmup rehearsals. See you then.
