Our show was in Amsterdam’s Ziggo Dome. Yes the photo above was from the show, and, no, it doesn’t look that way because I visited too many of Amsterdam’s famed coffee shops!
I had changed the settings on my little 360 degree camera, which is done remotely by a difficult app, and I guess I got them very wrong and every pic that night looked psychedelic. I’ll only put up that one, because it’s a fun one to share - fortunately I got many with my trusty Nikon.
I finally took a visit to the sound and lights desks out at front of house
At soundcheck. Josh is warming up - I call this ‘serenade to a pretend pile of logs’
Backstage, a lovely area, loaded with Dutch art. How welcoming is this.
The catering area has it’s own artwork
I’ve no more photos from the first half of the show… well, I do, but they’re all with that camera that went rogue on me. Here’s one - you’ll get the idea
Going on for the second half
Another excellent, and fun show
We’ll be headed to Antwerp, not too far away, for tomorrow’s show.
I’ll certainly have a look at re-setting the default on that one camera. Those surprise photos were interesting, but not something I want to repeat. Actually it’s kind of nice having one wild card camera that surprises me, and also one that’s very reliable. Wouldn’t want my basses to be like that!
More soon.
