We’ve assembled in L.A. to have a decent rehearsal period. Danny Carey’s unable to do this tour because of his commitments with TOOL, and we’ve brought in the marvelous Terry Bozzo, whom we each have considerable history with.

There’s a lot of running through the pieces, both the ones we’ve been doing in our shows, and some others, from the 90’s King Crimson.

Guitar amps are a bit loud for those in the front, so we tried out this…

So… can’t exactly say we’re totally ready for the first shows… there’ll be some surprises for us, as well as the audience. But it’s very exciting and going to be great fun doing this new incarnation of the band.

More soon, as we head for our first show, outdoors at the Quarry Amphitheater, in Santa Cruz.
