BEAT Euro 26

Tilburg Show

We’re at the oddly named 013 Poppodium tonight in Tilburg, and though I’ve played the city before with Stick Men, it’s my first time at this venue.

Pretty complex layout, but Lots of signs, (even if some confused me.)

By late afternoon I had the sense of where everything was. And, like everything else here, the artwork in my dressing room is unique.

Wow, no seats

That means folks will be standing tonight… less comfortable for the audience, I know, but it makes for MUCH better sound, simply because there’s less bouncing around echoes. We’re all looking forward to that. (And, yeah, my photos can get more of the audience in them! I do love the chance to show people who were at a show how great they look to us onstage, and how inspiring it is.)

A bit later, and... here they are
and here we go

It’s probably a good point to add a reminder that if you’re in a picture and want to see it larger, clicking on it once will take you to a bigger version, which you’re welcome to download. (clicking again, even larger.)

Things just fell together tonight. Even my happening to get a pic of Danny’s drumstick toss while we were doing bows…

Still some encores to do

During “Thela Hun Ginjeet” Steve wandered over to my area of the stage. He tells me he’d done this before but I didn’t notice… this time I caught him!

A wonderful night, and maybe our best show of the tour so far. Next, we’ll head to Madrid for an outdoor show there.

More soon.
