What an audience for our show here in Madrid!

And it’s a wonderful venue - at the botanical gardens, the Noches del Botanico stage.

It’s also the first outdoor show of our summer tour (there will be lots) and heat is a factor for sure.

Soundcheck was very short. The sun beating down on our effect pedals can make them overheat.

After a couple of songs, the crew took the pedals safely into the shade.

I took a short walk to see a little of what the area is like

and, soon enough, it’s time for the show

9pm… I’d thought it’d be dark by now. But, nope, the light show will have to kick in after intermission.
